Digital Marketplace for Agricultural Commodities

Vosbor is the first digital marketplace for global agricultural commodity trading, enabling cash, forward, and derivatives markets for grains and oilseeds. It connects buyers and sellers, provides price discovery, risk management, negotiation, and secure trade execution - all within a single platform.

Project I worked on

Discovery & Research:

Vosbor is transforming how agricultural commodities are traded globally. Traditionally, buying and selling grains and oilseeds involved complex workflows, manual negotiations, and fragmented tools. Vosbor’s vision was to create a unified, digital-first platform for both cash and derivatives markets—offering market analysis, pricing tools, negotiation, and trade execution in one seamless experience.

The most significant challenges included:

✔️ Visualizing and simplifying a multi-step order placement process with numerous fields, conditional logic, and trade documentation.

✔️ Transforming a complex institutional-grade interface into a streamlined experience for mobile and web users.

My Role & Contributions:

1. Conducted a full UI/UX audit, identifying pain points in navigation, workflows, and data visualization.
2. Created a mobile-first trading interface for on-the-go execution while maintaining institutional-grade functionality.
3. Helped to redesign web platform for a global agriculture spot and derivatives trading platform.
4. Participated in building a modular design system for faster product iteration and visual consistency.

Outcome:

Through close collaboration with product and engineering teams, I helped to redesign the application experience, improving usability and consistency. The result is a trading platform that balances sophistication with simplicity - supporting Vosbor’s mission of making agricultural trade more transparent and efficient.
